We use premium 135 liter barrels of ex bourbon sealed with dried local plantain leaves to reduce evaporation in the barrel by 50%, which stabilizes annually at 6%. It is a rum free of sugar, caramel, artificial ingredients and accelerators. It is distilled with a continuous multi-column method according to Spanish tradition, up to 5 times, with 100% renewable energy. All stages of the production process have been overseen by the same family since 1890. We speak of "5 Star Authenticity". HOW I DRINK IT To be enjoyed neat or with crystalline ice cube and orange peel. FOCUS It is aged at the base of the San Cristobal volcano since 1890. It is striking for its fullness, elegance and complexity given by almost two decades spent in cask before being bottled.
